He characterized the changes as technical corrections to the bill’s session‑law transition language and sought committee assent to bring the amendment forward; committee members raised no objections during the hearing.
No committee vote on the underlying UCC bill or the technical amendments was recorded at this session; the sponsor said he would present a clean copy for the next meeting and file the amendments then.
