During the announcements segment commission members shared several community events: Moorhead High School’s spring play “Geek” was announced for performances at Horizon Middle School Auditorium April 24–27 (announcer gave those dates during the meeting); Theater B’s spring production of “Pride and Prejudice” was noted to open May 2 and run through May 18; Concordia’s music department planned a masterworks/oratorio concert and a commencement concert in Memorial Auditorium in the weeks following the meeting; and at the Rourke, an exhibit “Untethered” by Courtney Donahue opens with a public opening on Sunday and a floral installation by Steph Leininger will be on display for a special “gallery in bloom” event.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn, which was seconded and approved by voice vote. No formal votes were recorded on substantive policy or budget items during the meeting.
