Council approves CDBG spending plan and adopts 2025–27 strategic plan; consent items pass
Summary
At its April meeting, the Glendora City Council approved the FY2025–26 Community Development Block Grant action plan and adopted the city's 2025'27 strategic plan; the consent calendar also passed. All motions passed unanimously, 5'0'00.
Glendora City Council on April 23 unanimously approved the city's FY2025'26 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) annual action plan, adopted the 2025'27 strategic plan and passed consent calendar items 6 and 7, each by 5'0'00 votes.
The approvals set funding and direction for multiple city priorities. The CDBG action plan earmarks about 20 percent of the estimated grant for administration and fair-housing work and directs roughly 80 percent of the anticipated nonadministrative funds to a street-improvement and accessibility project that will install 31 Americans with Disabilities Act curb ramps in a neighborhood north of Gladstone. The council authorized a staff adjustment methodology so the city manager may finalize exact allocations once the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development releases the final grant amount.
