“We're only planning on 8 to 10, 8 to 12,” the chief said when asked about staffing. Committee members said similar mutual‑aid deployments have occurred previously (Cleveland, Milwaukee) and approved the placement on consent without extended debate.
The committee recorded no specific dollar figure for potential reimbursement; staff said only officer salaries and travel would be direct city costs in the near term.
