Facilities update: 1100 Lakeview remodel complete, asset-management go-live, Regional Forensic Science Center nearing completion

Facilities staff briefed the committee on building moves, new asset-management software, capital projects and ongoing maintenance work.
Key updates: - 1100 Lakeview remodel: Departments have moved into renovated A/B spaces; Finance is scheduled to complete its move in early May. Parks and other departments relocated smoothly with UW assistance. Staff plan to solicit department feedback in the coming weeks. - Asset management system: Preconfiguration with CCIT for Cartograph/OpenGov is underway; tentative go-live was scheduled for May 12–16 to enable improved work order tracking and asset lifecycle records. - River Drive and Thomas Street: Department moves from River Drive are complete; staff will prepare RFP discussion materials for future redevelopment of surplus sites. The Bridal Union remains in negotiation for an off-site primary location; a signed lease exists for a Lakeview satellite space with a targeted soft opening. - Regional Forensic Science Center (RFSC): The project is tentatively slated for substantial completion in July; landscaping and memorial garden work will follow. - Library chiller and Schofield mobile home park projects: Library chiller start-up is scheduled next week for a $3.2 million project; a park mobile home project in Schofield is complete and staff are coordinating maintenance with the city.
Staff also noted they received a $50,000 refund from WPS for meter overcharging, and continue coordination with North Central Healthcare on DHS and CMS inspections.
Facilities said small-cap repair accounts remain healthy, and they will bring fleet and large rolling-stock needs (including a near-$1 million Highway purchase) to the committee for future planning.
