The Kingston Select Board on April 21 approved a two‑sided informational insert to be mailed with May tax bills. The insert combines MS4 (stormwater) outreach — including pet‑waste and septic maintenance reminders — with recycling and collection‑center updates and a notice about the statewide lithium‑ion battery landfill ban effective July 1.
Staff said the flyer fulfills MS4 public‑education requirements and also helps the town’s watershed committee meet outreach goals; cost for the mail insert was estimated at roughly $6.50 per mailer and will be split across the MS4/stormwater and collection‑center budgets.
Motion by Laurie Sweed, second by Ellen Faulconer; all in favor. Printing will be coordinated with Minute Man (printer) and the town’s tax‑billing schedule.
