The Kingston Select Board voted April 21 to award a $77,430 contract to Credere Associates LLC for supplemental site investigation work connected to the town’s PFAS response, after an independent consultant reviewed three proposals.
Truslow Resource Consulting reviewed bids from Sanborn Head, Mabbet (spelled in transcript as Mabot), and Credere (the low bidder). Truslow concluded all three firms were qualified but recommended a combined approach in which Credere’s lower cost and project team be used while Sanborn Head remain the overall technical lead for the larger PFAS project. The consultant’s written recommendation was provided to the board.
Board members discussed budget timing and noted the town had set aside a similar amount for the work; staff agreed to confirm which budget line would cover the contract amount and report back. The board approved the award; the vote was unanimous.
