"We just basically want to keep it, the neighborhood that it is," said Bonnie Skiers, who identified her address as 11168 NC 87 South and spoke during the hearing. Patricia Gravley, a nearby property owner, said she bought her land for privacy and expressed concern about increased traffic and strangers on her private drive. William Roberts, who said he lives at 11320 NC 87, also described the intersection near the site as "a very dangerous intersection."…
