He also said a larger roof replacement project is largely covered by insurance—staff stated an insurance coverage amount of approximately $1,153,000 minus the county’s deductible of $5,000—and that the ongoing larger roofing project had started.
A commissioner observed activity at the Justice Center and noted concurrent training for dispatchers; the board approved the motion to authorize the emergency repair expenditure by voice vote. No speakers from the public addressed the item during the meeting.
