Items approved included: approval of April 7 meeting minutes; a facility use agreement with Harborside Christian Church; a user group agreement with the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch for summer 2025; Boy Scouts of America camp reservation agreement; acceptance of the City of Safety Harbor annual comprehensive financial report for fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2023 and the Community Redevelopment Agency financial statements; approval of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP audit agreements for the city and the CRA for the year ended Sept. 30, 2024; purchase of a 4-inch mobile pump for $62,000 from Thompson Pump and Manufacturing; purchase of a 2025 Chevy Silverado for $52,000 from Garber Chevrolet Buick GMC Inc. for the streets division; purchase of a 2025 Ford F-550 regular cab flatbed truck for $93,000 from Duval Ford; approval of a contract with Left Coast Utilities Corp for sanitary sewer point repair at 1 Harbor Woods Drive for $28,000; and disposal of a 2002 Chevy Suburban from the fire department.
A single motion to approve items 1–5 and 7–11 passed by voice vote; consent item 6 (the audit agreements) was discussed separately and approved by separate motion; both votes were announced as passing 5-0.
None of the consent items required further public hearings. The meeting record does not show individual commissioner roll-call votes with names for each item; outcomes were announced by the mayor as unanimous (5-0).
