Longwood council member invites community to third annual autism walk and resource fair

“It's a project for both me and my wife,” Morgan said. He told commissioners the event aims to connect neurodiverse families with local service providers; Morgan said organizers expect more than 55 vendors offering autism-related services free of charge. Activities include a short solidarity walk, bounce houses, a splash pad, petting animals, and appearances by performers in character; Morgan noted the sensory benefits such activities provide for some autistic children.
The event is free and open to all; Morgan said information would be available on the City of Longwood’s website and social-channel postings. He encouraged residents and county officials to attend.
