Commissioners nominated and voted to appoint Brianna Bynum; the motion carried unanimously. The board then nominated and appointed Daniel Kavanaugh to fill the second open seat. Commissioners said both candidates brought legal and community experience: Bynum had recommendations from a sitting judge and local attorneys, and Kavanaugh had local references and prior service noted in his application.
The clerk’s office will notify the appointees and update the law library and county records. No objections or recusals were recorded on the motions.
