Peoria County rolls out Recycle Coach tool, confirms household hazardous-waste date and subscription options

On landfill operations, Becky said the landfill operator moved the free-load program to the Chillicothe transfer station (and Hopedale on limited Saturdays) and that the landfill itself was expected to close around May 16. She said GFL is offering a subscription program available to county residents, with negotiated quarterly rates and a July 1 timeline for recycling inclusion; residents must call GFL to enroll or preserve negotiated pricing.
