County staff requested a 2025 appropriation of $345,000 of that award to support hiring and program costs this fiscal year; the remainder will be applied to next year’s budget.
Finally, the board approved a contract for treatment services for the county’s problem-solving courts with the Human Service Center (referred to in the bid as “Carl” in the presentation). County staff said all costs under that contract will be paid from probation service funds or probation grants and that the provider agrees to exhaust other funding sources before billing the county for non-personnel services.
