Commissioner Lynette Hillroom moved the motion to approve the agreement, specifying fund number 1135 for the county match. The motion was approved 2-0; Commissioner Madera voted in favor and Commissioner Jones was absent. The board noted they may need to ratify the agreement at a later meeting if final signatures require it.
Highway staff said the agreement was received by the county only the day before the meeting and that the county’s signature and DocuSign routing were needed promptly to meet INDOT’s timeline. No public comment was offered on the item.
The board did not vote on any amendments and did not direct additional study; staff will proceed with executing the agreement and returning to the board for any required ratification.
