Jessica Warren, director of human resources, presented a personnel request from Public Works to fill an open mechanic position that can be filled at ASE‑certified or non‑certified pay scales. Commissioners raised no objections and the department will proceed to fill the vacancy to cover shop workload that has been increased by extended leaves and other staffing shifts.
Both items were handled as routine agenda matters; formal surplus declarations and any sale authority will return for hearing and subsequent action.
