Limestone County Commission approves $2.65 million in claims, multiple bids, personnel moves and right-of-way transfer

The Limestone County Commission on April 21 unanimously approved $2,654,405.68 in county claims and a series of routine motions that included bid awards, personnel hires and promotions, a transfer of right-of-way to the Alabama Department of Transportation and subdivision plats.

The approvals, taken during the commission’s regular meeting, cover operating claims, equipment purchases, bid awards and staffing changes that county officials said support ongoing road and maintenance work and normal county operations.
