Councilman Fairfield reported that Mitchison has prepared required maps and boundaries and has taken necessary preliminary steps; the council approved the petition and directed staff to prepare an ordinance for final adoption. Fairfield said the property includes a house and an apartment; Mitchison intends to move into the apartment and sell the house once the resubdivision is complete.
The motion carried by voice vote. Council members congratulated the applicants and welcomed them to St. Albans.
