The city clerk said Councilor Watson, who chairs the committee organizing Earth Day, was unable to attend and asked that the clerk make the announcement. The clerk said each councilor has details in their packet and noted that the dumpsters will be in the same district locations as the prior year. The clerk also said the park event will include food trucks, activities for children and a trail exploration later in the day.
Event times provided during the meeting: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the main activities and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the trail exploration. City staff said more details will be posted on social media and that residents may contact their councilor or city hall with questions.
