Yeadon Borough Council on April 17 adopted Ordinance 2025-003 changing special-purpose and special-permit parking zones, voted to advertise Ordinance 2025-004 on abatement and impounding and approved resolutions to apply for two Small Water and Sewer grants for local sewer and stormwater work. The council also authorized bidding on the borough’s 2025 road program, which includes completion of Gayden Avenue, and approved routine finance measures including the April accounts payable list and the March cash-balance report.
The measures are intended to address immediate operational needs and to pursue outside funding for infrastructure work. Engineering staff said the grant applications target stormwater improvements on Darnell Avenue and sanitary improvements on the 800 block of Bullock Avenue; council voted to submit both applications.
Council members voted unanimously on each recorded roll call. The council adopted Ordinance 2025-003 (special permit parking) and voted to advertise Ordinance 2025-004 (abatement and impounding). The council instructed staff to proceed with bidding for the 2025 road program and approved the borough’s accounts payable and cash-balance report for March.

Council did not take additional policy direction on those items beyond approving the grant submissions and the road bid authorization.
The council meeting proceeded by roll call and recorded unanimous support on the items above; no dissenting votes or abstentions were recorded in the minutes.
