City code enforcement representative Miss Herstein opened the presentation, identifying the property as a single-family residence and saying the case began after a complaint about high weeds. She told the magistrate that an April reinspection showed multiple ongoing exterior problems and that of the original nine cited violations, the weed violation had been fixed and eight remained part of the case.
