Waukegan High students connect with employers at Tech and Trade Fair

The event connected students with local businesses and professionals, offering opportunities for internships, job shadowing and skill-building, Altsak said. The district thanked the “dozens of organizations” that attended to support students and provide information about careers and postsecondary options.
Altsak presented the fair as part of the district’s broader effort to expose high school students to trades and technical careers; no formal agreements, contracts or funding decisions were announced in the remarks.
