The Murray School District Board of Education approved Amber Rogers as assistant principal at Murray High School, effective July 1, 2025.
Superintendent Covington (presenting) introduced Rogers and described her 15 years in education, noting roles as a teacher and swim coach at Murray High, instructional coach in Canyon School District, and intern assistant principal at Hillcrest Junior High this year. Rogers told the board she is “excited to be home” and said Murray shaped her educational values.
A board member moved the appointment and a second was given; the chair called a voice vote and the motion passed. Rogers was invited to address the board briefly and thanked district leaders and staff who mentored her.
