The agreement covers a minor update to the town’s comprehensive plan, development of a park and outdoor recreation master plan, and related outreach.
County staff described the work as routine shared services for municipalities that do not have full‑time planners. The services include assistance on long‑range planning, grant and matching strategies, and preparation of a park master plan and trail connections. Committee members clarified the shared‑services role does not replace local zoning enforcement or make the county the town’s zoning administrator.
Supervisor Kratz moved the resolution; the committee voted aye and advanced the agreement.
