- Encampment management policy and advisory report (navigation hub pilot): Motion to adopt updated pilot administrative policy and accept the advisory report passed 9–2. Mover: Alderperson Letterman; seconder: Alderperson Kumar. (See full article for details.)
- Proposed sale of 205 West MLK to INHS: Council authorized the IURA to sell the parcel to Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services for affordable housing development; INHS indicated 50 of 56 units will be affordable to households earning up to 60% AMI. Motion moved by Alderperson Nguyen and seconded by Alderperson Hank Sharp; action carried unanimously and was advanced to the regular voting agenda/consent.
- South Aurora/Green Street mural resolution: Council approved the mural resolution and moved it to consent. Vote recorded as 10 in favor with Alderperson Matos recused.
- Lease extension for downtown childcare center at 506 First Street / DICC lease extension: Council moved lead agency declaration and environmental negative declaration and authorized negotiation of a lease extension to 04/30/2035 with an additional 10-year renewal option; motions carried and were moved to the consent and regular voting agendas as appropriate.
- Ithaca Police Department enforcement technology grant acceptance: Staff presented a grant acceptance resolution for the Ithaca Police Department enforcement technology; council moved that item to the consent agenda (approved to move to consent unanimously).
- Additional consent items advanced: Multiple items in the packet were placed on consent after brief presentation, including participatory budget updates, capital grant items and administrative resolutions; council votes to move these items to consent or to the regular agenda carried by voice vote as recorded in the meeting.
