The board approved engaging the Quality Coach to lead community engagement and strategic‑plan facilitation related to the Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP 6) and the district's Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP).

District staff said MSIP 6 requires a data‑driven CSIP developed in "meaningful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders" and that the board must adopt and annually monitor implementation of the CSIP. The proposed consultant scope includes in‑person stakeholder meetings, surveys, synthesis of input, development of a strategic plan with focused goals, and an implementation roadmap covering one and five years.

Staff recommended Quality Coach after issuing an RFP and receiving four responses (The Quality Coach, Fire Dept Consulting Group, EGL Association, Cambrian Group). The administration said Quality Coach's proposed process and price — an estimated $24,000–$29,000 — aligned with the district's budget. A motion to approve the engagement passed unanimously.

Administrators said the consulting work will involve district cabinet members and deliverables were expected by July (timeline provided during the presentation).
