- Mass gathering permits (Cumberland Fairgrounds): The council approved three mass-gathering applications for events at the Cumberland Fairgrounds: the Chickadee Classic Dog Show (June 19–20); Binney Media’s Ultimate Yard Sale (June 14 and Sept. 6); and a Circus event in August (date not specified in the application). Staff reported no concerns from Fire or EMS and said prior iterations of these events drew high attendance but no recent enforcement issues. Outcomes: all approved unanimously.
Each approved action was moved, seconded and recorded as unanimous; staff will implement the permit renewals and pursue the MPI application per council direction.
