Engineering and fire prevention offered no objections. Commissioners discussed how several city parcels are noncontiguous and are linked across right‑of‑way; staff clarified the map shows three distinct city parcels that functionally combine for park use. The commission voted to recommend approval as submitted. Recorded aye votes included Commissioner Chambly, Commissioner Schroeder, Commissioner Klinger and Commissioner Martin.
Staff recommendation and the commission’s action will accompany annexation filings for the properties; parcel numbers cited on the record for the city parcels were 30001008163, 330001009345 and 330001018295, and the Barfell parcel was listed as 330001002425.
