The board rescinded a prior “not to exceed” budget cap of $36,013,276 (motion by Cal Oxford, second by Mister Morrow) and then approved a revised fiscal year 2026 budget not to exceed $37,180,148 (motion by Cal Oxford, second by Gwen Flowers Taylor). Both motions passed 7-0.
The authority also approved a master services agreement for additional easement acquisition work with the firm handling current sewer-plant easements (motion by Mister Morrow, second by Mister Davis; passed 7-0). The board approved available bond documents and a reimbursement resolution tied to planned revenue bonds for the AKB sewer project; the reimbursement resolution was moved and seconded and passed 7-0.
Following an executive session, the board authorized the general manager to execute two real-estate purchase agreements for construction and maintenance easements: tax map 218-02001Delta (about 1.19 acres) for $21,420 (motion carried 7-0) and tax map 217-01004Echo (about 0.63 acres) for $11,340 (motion carried 6-0).
Other routine approvals included adoption of the meeting agenda and acceptance of prior meeting minutes and committee minutes; all were approved by unanimous votes.
Votes counted at the meeting matched the motions recorded on the agenda; no roll-call dissents were recorded.
