Parkway Board swears in two new members, re-elects Jeff Todd as president in unanimous organizational vote

Unofficial returns shared at the organizational meeting showed Jeffrey Spector received 8,024 votes, John Kilper received 6,794 votes, Mia Robinson received 5,417 votes and Ally Secot received 4,994 votes. The board announced that, based on those results, John Kilper and Jeffrey Spector were elected to the Parkway Board of Education.
The board secretary administered the oath of office to Kilper and Spector at the meeting. The oath included pledges to support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Missouri and to “faithfully and impartially discharge the duties of school director in and for the Parkway School District, County of Saint Louis, state of Missouri, to the best of my ability and according to law.”
The organizational meeting then proceeded to elect board officers for the 2025–26 year. Jeff Todd was elected president, and Deborah Hopper was elected vice president; both elections were approved unanimously by voice vote. The board also appointed Nikki Stover as secretary, Carrie Nunn as treasurer, Elisa Tomich as custodian of records, and named Jeff Todd as the district delegate and Matthew Schindler as the alternate to the Missouri School Boards Association (MSBA). Each motion recorded “motion carries 7–0.”
Outgoing board member Rob Reedy received remarks from colleagues before leaving the dais. Reedy reflected on his three years on the board and on the district’s direction, and he warned of potential external pressure facing public education. Reedy said, “I think these people, these young people, whether they be students, whether they be staff members, are gonna feel unsafe.”
