Commission staff reported they are searching emails and records; one commissioner provided three batches of emails for review and county IT has extracted a set of emails from administrative assistants that may be responsive.
Commission staff asked that at least one commissioner review the responsive materials with staff before release. Commissioners discussed redaction of personal information—such as personal email addresses or phone numbers—where appropriate, but said redaction questions should be resolved with county counsel. Staff indicated the clerk had granted an extension and asked that responsive records be provided by the close of business next Friday.
The commission agreed to make the responsive records available for at least one commissioner to review prior to release, and staff will coordinate redaction and counsel review as needed.
