Salt Lake City Council interviewed nominees April 15 to serve on several advisory panels and indicated they would place the appointments on the regular meeting’s consent agenda.
Nominees who spoke to the council included Michelle Bueller and Wisam Goodyear for the Art Design Board; Sarah Foran for the Peanut Board (parks/advisory); and Kelby Gopal, Turner (Glendale community council chair) and others for the Transportation Advisory Board. Candidates described professional and volunteer experience: working artists, environmental‑ and transportation‑sector professionals, community‑council chairs and nonprofit board members.
Council members thanked the nominees and said their names would be forwarded for formal appointment at the regular meeting. No contested appointments were recorded in the work session.
Ending: If confirmed at the regular meeting the new appointees will join the respective advisory boards and participate in design, parks and transportation reviews and decisions.
