Commissioners approve revised job description and pay grade for senior treasurer accountant

Taos County commissioners approved a revised job description and pay grade for the senior treasurer accountant position on April 15. County staff and the county treasurer said the revised description better reflects the responsibilities of the role and that the change resulted in a pay increase to be absorbed in the current fiscal year through salary savings and reflected in next year’s budget.
