Dunn County to consider appointment to District 14; board preview lists recognitions, annual reports and resolutions

The county preview listed several additional agenda items for the April 16 regular meeting: recognition of retiring municipal clerks; annual reports from the register of deeds, the Dunn County Housing Authority and veteran services; routine budget amendments; a resolution on land and water conservation funding; and a resolution recognizing Work Zone Awareness Week.
The preview noted that Work Zone Awareness Week is next week and emphasized worker safety on county highways and interstates. The preview also reminded the public that in Wisconsin county highway departments, under contract with the state, maintain county roads as well as state highways and interstates, underscoring the county’s role in highway worker safety.
The preview did not list a motion or vote on the District 14 appointment; the county indicated the proposed successor will require formal approval by the board at the meeting.
