Superintendent: performing arts center work has begun; capital campaign, donor outreach underway

In a separate liaison report, board member Schrum, the district CTC liaison, congratulated Avery Wazzo for winning first place at the Pennsylvania SkillsUSA competition as part of the aspiring educator program; he said she will advance to national competition this summer. Schrum also described CTC efforts to pilot computer technical education pathways in middle schools and noted a newsletter posted to the district website.
Dr. McCracken said more detailed discussion of the stadium would follow later in the meeting. Board members and staff encouraged any board members with interest in the capital campaign to attend the April 24 meeting and scheduled donor outreach meetings in the coming weeks.
