LEOFF Plan 2 board hears tight budget, plans outreach and interim leadership change

At its April 16 meeting the Law Enforcement Officers' and Fire Fighters' Plan 2 Retirement Board received an administrative briefing covering the quarterly budget, upcoming stakeholder outreach and changes in interim meeting leadership.
Steve, a senior staff member, gave the budget update: "Right now, as we head into the end of the biennium, the variance is less than half a percent or right around a half a percent. So it's tight but positive, and I expect that we're not gonna have any problems, with that between now and the end of the biennium." He invited trustees to ask questions about the quarterly budget report outside the meeting.
