Planning Commission approves $395 for printing executive summary

The Columbia Planning Commission on April 15 approved spending $395 from its annual $500 printing budget to produce a trifold executive summary. The commission will use a plain back page layout and expects the print order to be completed within about two weeks.
Commission members discussed paper and distribution. Paula noted the commission's $500 annual budget for printing; at the quoted cost of $395 for 100 copies the commission will retain roughly $105 in the line item. Members suggested distribution to local realtors, economic development contacts and placing copies in the borough library and at the planning office.
Tiff Wright made the motion to authorize the printing; the motion was seconded and passed on a voice vote after Chairperson Wickenheiser asked, "All in favor, signify by saying 'aye'."
