Hilliard startup Avianova developing cooling earpiece to reduce vertigo; CityLab cited as early support
Summary
Noor Taish Hamim, founder of Avianova and executive director of JSOAR, described a prototype cooling earpiece she says can reduce spatial disorientation for aviators and astronauts and may help people with vertigo on Earth. Hamim credited Hilliard CityLab and local staff for early mentoring and an innovation grant that helped advance the work.
