DuPage County committee approves sheriff contracts, budget transfers and a noise-ordinance amendment

DuPage County—s Judicial and Public Safety Committee on April 15 approved a series of purchasing actions and budget transfers for sheriff and court operations, and passed an amendment to the county—s noise ordinance.

The committee approved a one-year contract for guardian ad litem legal services, amendments and purchase orders for jail and communications equipment and printing services, and two transfers of contingency funds to cover employee insurance and the completion of a heavy-duty response vehicle.
