The work described in the resolution includes turn lanes and signal modifications at the intersections of SR 6 (US 82) at Cobbs Ford Road/Legends Drive and SR 3 (US 31) at SR 6 (US 82).
The resolution states the total cost will not exceed $1,391,845.68 and that ATRIP grant funding will be used; the motion passed with council assent. The council also authorized a separate preliminary engineering agreement with Sain Associates Inc. for engineering services related to the same ATRIP project, at a cost not to exceed $218,500.
