Resident urges Fairport Harbor to add online billing; village agrees to review options

During public comment, resident Mark Elshink urged the village to provide online billing or emailed statements so seasonal residents can pay bills while away. Elshink said he currently leaves funds with the village to cover bills during months he is out of state and called for an online payment or automatic debit option.
"I would like some kind of online billing service," Elshink said, noting postcards and paper bills do not reliably forward when he travels. Village officials acknowledged the request and said they would review billing options and forwarding practices to identify possible online payment or email-notice services.
