Coachella Valley Unified School District officials on April 3 detailed a 2025 summer school program that will run 20 instructional days from June 12 to July 11, include targeted academic instruction and enrichment, and use a mix of federal and foundation funding to expand access.
The presentation, led by district presenter Socorro Sanchez, said the program will include 180 minutes of daily academic instruction for participating students and three one-hour enrichment rotations. “Together, we are committed to leveling up learning for all students this summer,” Sanchez told the board. The program schedule includes two holidays (June 19 and July 4) and a teacher professional development day on June 11.
