Kennedy said one example was removing the term "concept map," which appears 15 times in the ordinance; the amendment would replace or remove such legacy references so the UDO consistently references Suffolk 2045.
Why it matters: The change is procedural and intended to keep ordinance text consistent with the city’s current comprehensive plan; staff described the package as "housekeeping" necessary after adoption of the new plan. The commission recommended approval and will forward the ordinance to City Council for final action on May 21.
