Commissioners approve contracts, building repairs and consent agenda; motions advance sheriff’s lot negotiations and correctional facility repairs

Human services and consent items - Children and Youth Services: The board approved adding four Children and Youth items to next week’s consent agenda, including an Act 31/Act 34 fiscal report and renewals for residential placements and the CAPS data system; the county share for the CAPS service agreement was reported as $8,102.74. - Adult services and aging: Commissioners approved submission of the Human Services Block Grant income and expense report for state FY 2023–24 and added a contract with Housing Transitions (an ESG‑funded contract totaling $94,649.59) to next week’s consent agenda. They also added an increase in rates for Aging Well PA LLC to reflect expanded functional eligibility determination work for Medicaid nursing‑home eligibility and waiver enrollment.
