County proclaims April 2025 Grange Month, highlights fair and agricultural role

She said Pomona Grange committees coordinate the county fair and other countywide ag events, and that state and national Grange organizations have advocated for rural broadband and mental‑health services.
Commissioners praised the Grange’s economic and community impact, noting the Grange Fair’s regional draw and the county’s broader agricultural economy. The board moved to adopt the proclamation by voice vote. Commissioner Concepcion moved to adopt Proclamation No. 17; the motion was seconded and carried.
The proclamation recognizes the Grange’s historic and ongoing role supporting rural agriculture, youth scholarships and local ag tourism.
