The Budget and Finance Committee voted to suspend the rules and advance legislation to contract with governmentjobs.com (NeoGov) for a one‑year renewal of the city’s human resources software used for applicant tracking, onboarding and training.
Montrell Jax presented the request, saying the NeoGov platform handles applicant tracking, onboarding and learning‑management functions and that the contract is renewed annually as part of normal operations. Committee members approved suspension of the rules after a motion and second and a voice vote in favor; the chair said the item would be circulated to council that evening.
No questions or amendments were recorded during the committee discussion.
