The chief told the council that the program requires no city match and that funds will supplement overtime enforcement deployed in partnership with regional agencies. The council moved, seconded and recorded a unanimous vote to approve the interagency agreement; no amendments were made at the meeting.
The resolution authorizes the city manager to accept the grant funds passed through Snohomish County and to execute the required agreement; staff will coordinate enforcement details and public education with regional partners.
