The Templeton Conservation Commission approved a minor modification request April 14 for an Energy North Group project at 198 Patriots Road, accepting three small plan changes and recording the acceptance in the commission file.
Engineer Chris York of GPI, appearing by Zoom, described the changes: the concrete pad adjacent to proposed storage tanks was moved to the northerly side within existing pavement, the fenced storage area was extended to the limits of existing gravel to better contain empty propane tanks, and a pole barn was added outside the 100‑foot buffer. York said the revised plan does not increase impervious area. "There is no new impervious proposed," he said.
The commission's agent noted a site inspection and requested a berm be added to prevent crushed stone from migrating offsite; the berm was shown on the updated plan. Amanda, the commission agent, said the modification was minor and would not require an amended order of conditions; the commission approved the change and the agent said she would send the applicant a letter documenting the acceptance for the file.
The vote was recorded in the meeting: the motion to accept the minor modification passed with all voting commissioners recorded in the affirmative.
The commission asked staff to email the acceptance letter to engineer Chris York and retain the revised plans and documentation in the project file.
