The St. Joseph School District board approved revised health‑insurance contribution figures after administrators presented corrected numbers for the district’s EPO plan scenario.
In Doctor Secrest’s absence, Doctor Krauss told the board that the numbers in “Scenario 2b” reflected the district’s intended contribution for the EPO option and that the HSA and PPO figures were unchanged. “Scenario 2b has the, corrected numbers. There was never any intent to minimize the district contribution toward the EPO as it went along,” Doctor Krauss said.
A motion to approve the revised insurance scenario was made and seconded; the roll‑call vote recorded seven yes votes and no no votes. During the roll call the board recorded: Mister Moore, Miss Lanning, Mister Gehring, Miss Chesney, Miss Miller, Miss Garcia and Miss Williams voting yes; the chair announced the motion passed 7‑0.
Administrators said the corrected contribution figures change the district’s total cost slightly but reflect the originally intended employer share for the EPO option. No other plan changes were presented at the meeting.
