The Yukon Planning Commission on April 14 recommended approval of a planned unit development and a preliminary plat for Garrett Place LLC at 1530 Health Center Parkway, subject to a condition requiring a minimum five‑foot buffer for sidewalks abutting Health Center Parkway and Professional Circle.
Matthew Miller, representing Garrett Place LLC, described a proposed development of 13 individual buildings on separate lots served by two common parking and lighting lots. "The intent is to build, put all utilities in, put all the parking in, lighting, landscaping, and then the building lots would be the only thing that would be left unbuilt until we sell and occupy those buildings," Miller said.
Commissioners noted the applicant agreed to staff recommendations 1 through 14. A motion recommending approval with the stated condition carried unanimously; the commission then recommended approval of the preliminary plat with the same five‑foot buffer condition. Both items will be forwarded to city council for final action.
